Workshops & Special Events

The workshops offer comfortable working space to small groups on a local farm. Our goal is to bring people out to visit the farm and to have fun learning about our farm, creating a specially handmade product and, most importantly, enjoy each others company in the process. Both weekday and evening workshops are available by appointment and availability. Special requests - such as Birthday Parties are welcomed. Ask for particulars and we will try our best to accommodate you! Contact us for more information. All classes are appropriate for ages 12 and up and we welcome mixed groups! Some classes are designed for the younger crowd too!

Hypertuffa Creations

Come and make a unique planter, birdbath or decorative accent using portland cement, peat moss, sand and moss. Each piece is truly a one of a kind creation.

$35 per person. Ages 12 & up.

　　

Terrarium

Spring and summer offer new opportunities in the woodlands for interesting “finds” suitable for making fantastic terrariums. Let’s pack a snack, roam, gather and find interesting things to bring back and make into a glass terrarium. What a nice way to keep the woods alive!

$30 per person. Ages 8 & up.

Fresh Flower Design

Come to the farm to see and learn about the varieties of flowers growing, proper picking and conditioning of the best flowers and then how to create a fresh flower basket arrangement for you to take home.

$30 per person. Ages 12 & up.

　　

Gourd Birdhouse

Come and make your very own birdhouse from

one of our dried gourds.

$10 per person. Groups of 4-10. Ages 8 & up.

Paper Making

Make your own decorated note card out of recycled

paper and send it to someone you want to impress!

$8 per person. Groups of 4-10. Ages 6 & up.

These projects are great ideas for children’s birthday parties!

Special Events:

Poetry of the Earth

Connecting with Others, Connecting with the Earth. We will read some poetry, walk the land, and write from what images we are drawn to.

No experience with poetry is needed. Bring a notebook and pen!
